Job Title: Principal Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join our team and lead the management of our expanding civil engineering team. The successful candidate will oversee complex schemes across a diverse range of clients, including local authorities, developers, and architects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of civil engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of schemes.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate resources to ensure the efficient delivery of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
  • A degree or HND in Civil Engineering.
  • Proven experience in line management, team management, and resource coordination.
  • Experience working with local authorities, developers, and architects on civil engineering aspects of schemes.
  • Civil engineering project management experience, including projects combining drainage, external works, and highways elements.
