Academic Assistant for Humanities - Harrow

A top school in Harrow is seeking an Academic Assistant for Humanities to provide support to students across various year groups. The successful candidate will have a degree from a reputable UK university in a Humanities subject and the ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.

About the Role:
  • A degree in a Humanities subject is essential for this position.
  • The successful candidate will earn a competitive daily rate, paid weekly via PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay.
  • Responsibilities will include supporting students of various abilities and helping them achieve their academic goals.
  • The role will involve working across History, Geography, RE, and Politics lessons.
  • Experience working with children and individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) is advantageous.
  • Previous tutoring experience will be viewed favourably.
  • Opportunities for professional development and extra-curricular activities will be available.
  • The role is term-time only, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4 pm.
