About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physical Education (PE) teacher to join our team at Preston. As a PE teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging physical education lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive PE curriculum in alignment with educational standards
  • Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons that cater to a variety of skill levels and abilities
  • Create a positive and inclusive environment where students feel motivated to participate and develop their physical skills
  • Encourage students to set and achieve personal fitness goals, fostering a love for sports and wellness
  • Organise and monitor extracurricular sports activities and events
  • Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
  • Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
Requirements
  • QTS/PGCE equivalent
  • Experience up to Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Strong classroom management
  • Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
  • Be an inspiring and engaging communicator
