About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team at QBE Management Services (UK) Limited. As an Onsite Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering expert technical assistance to our London office and remote workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling a variety of technical incidents and requests, ensuring prompt responses for timely resolution and service delivery.
  • Providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues, and managing the setup, maintenance, and upgrading of computer systems.
  • Providing IT support for projects such as technical rollouts, office moves, and upgrades.
  • Maintaining accurate records by documenting technical issues and their resolutions.
  • Sharing customer feedback with managers and other IT team members.
  • Technical ability to support 1st line engineers.

About You

We are looking for an individual with experience within IT, and proven troubleshooting expertise, whilst using Dell, Microsoft Surface, and Apple hardware. You should have a good understanding of the Microsoft O365 Suite and be able to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively within a team.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of the Microsoft O365 Suite.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrate drive and adeptness in self-management, with a strong ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is desirable.
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, SCCM and Microsoft Intune.
