As a Senior Computing Faculty Member, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, ensuring they achieve academic success and develop valuable skills in computing.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver modules in computing, including general programming (e.g., Python) and specialisms such as Cloud Computing, Web Development, Mobile Development, Networking, IoT, Cyber Security, Data Science, Big Data, DBMS, Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Engineering, Deep Learning, Information Systems, or Business Analysis.
  • Provide guidance and support to students with your knowledge and expertise, helping them power their potential.
  • Collaborate with education leaders to develop innovative delivery methods and cutting-edge curriculum.
  • Maintain a student-centric approach, ensuring our students' progression and academic achievement up to level 7.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Master's degree or higher in Computer Science/IT or a related subject area.
  • Experience teaching in higher education (e.g., levels 4 to 7).
  • A teaching qualification and HEA membership would be distinct advantages.
