Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multi-discipline engineering and fabrication workscopes for the Asset, overseeing Opex & Capex budgets and managing support contractors.
  • Manage the Management of Change process, working closely with all parties to ensure engineering changes enhance safety improvements or production delivery/enhancements.
  • Engineer project management of modification, repair order, and project workscopes, collaborating with Petrofac engineering and third-party contractors.
  • Evaluate and implement appropriate engineering standards and management of change controls for repairs and fabric maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate prioritization, co-ordination, and planning of repairs and fabric maintenance scopes.
  • Serve as the asset focal point for FCRs (Facilities Change Requests), facilitating clear communications between the offshore crew, onshore asset team, and engineering contractors.
  • Support successful implementation of workscopes offshore, ensuring activities are planned and completed safely and on time.
  • Co-ordinate construction crews - assist with manning, material coordination, tooling requirements, workscope support, and planning.
  • Maintain the interface between Petrofac and clients, ensuring project compliance aligns with Petrofac standards.
  • Develop project plans that integrate into the asset planning process, meeting business objectives, and effectively communicate facilities engineering activities onshore and offshore.
  • Ensure effective handover of work scopes between engineering and operations.
  • Guarantee vendor equipment availability and timely offshore shipment for workscopes.
  • Establish and manage budgets for modification, repair, and fabric maintenance activities.
  • Continuously monitor performance and outcome of repairs, modifications, and fabric maintenance activities.
  • Involvement in the closeout of legacy asset projects.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Offshore survival, medical, and MIST certification.
  • Degree qualification or significant experience working in the oil and gas industry or similar industry.
  • Ability to demonstrate ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Professional membership as applicable supported.
  • Produce high-quality work in the appropriate formats.
  • Demonstrated project or operations management skills in the oil or gas industry or similar industry.
  • Experience in activity planning, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Champion the Management of Change process for the asset.
  • Able to set priorities and develop integrated project scopes from multiple inputs.
  • Contribute to the delivery of engineering workscopes and small projects.
  • Capacity to frame and solve engineering problems with appropriate, innovative solutions.
  • Asset interface to engineering and 3rd party contractors.
  • Ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to support operational and project management decisions.
  • Able to produce high-quality written work and formal presentations matching identified requirements.
  • Built strong constructive relationships with various people within the organisation and externally.
  • Can demonstrate examples of delivering high-quality work individually and within a team.
  • Experience working in an engineering environment.
  • Offshore experience preferred.
  • Experience in an operations or engineering project role.
