At Career Legal, we are seeking a highly skilled MLS Lawyer with expertise in asset management to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a dedicated client team, managing a diverse portfolio of assets while delivering top-tier legal service.

The Role

As an MLS Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal and commercial solutions for clients, ensuring compliance and efficiency across a wide range of asset management matters. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating asset management documents such as leases, licences, surrenders, variations, and consents.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and codes of practice for the client's portfolio.
  • Collaborating closely with the client's in-house legal, estates, and operational teams to provide a seamless and tailored service.
  • Offering clear, concise advice on legal and commercial strategies tailored to the client's portfolio.

With 3-5 years PQE in English law, ideally within a busy asset management team, you will have proven expertise in asset management, particularly lease negotiations, renewals, surrenders, and handling large property portfolios. A strong understanding of the legal and commercial challenges specific to asset management is essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a bonus scheme. You will also have opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
