Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Lead to join our team at Camphill Village Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating the delivery of our Nature Based Arts and Crafts programme, working closely with our Green Care Manager and team to achieve the aims of the Green Care Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Programme Development: Develop and coordinate the delivery of the Nature Based Arts and Crafts programme, ensuring it meets the individual outcomes of the people we support.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead a staff team in supporting adults with varying abilities to achieve their own individual target outcomes.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Work with the Green Care Manager to achieve the aims of the Green Care Programme, and collaborate with other Green Care Programme Leads locally and nationally to share best practice.
  4. Quality Assurance: Contribute expertise to the continual improvement of our Nature Based Arts and Crafts programme, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and approach.
  5. Flexibility and Creativity: Work flexibly and creatively to respond to the needs of the people we support, and deputise for the Green Care Manager as required.
  6. Training and Development: Facilitate the delivery and accreditation of AQA structured courses for those who choose to follow this route.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a recognised qualification in either Arts and Crafts or Level 3 Health & Social Care, teaching qualification or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have a good level of IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and a full and valid driving licence.

Essential qualifications and experience include a recognised qualification in either Arts and Crafts or Level 3 Health & Social Care, teaching qualification or equivalent, and understanding and/or experience of working with people with a variety of care and support needs and of all abilities.

Desirable qualifications and experience include previous experience leading and managing an effective team, and evidence of a good working knowledge of nature-based Arts and Craft activities.
