As a Catering Assistant at Anchor, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents. This will involve working closely with the Chef Manager to ensure that all meals are prepared and served in line with health, safety, and hygiene requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a quality catering service in line with health, safety, and hygiene requirements.
  • Compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
  • Minimising wastage when preparing meals and using equipment correctly.
  • Escalating concerns and issues.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 food safety certificate.
  • Health & safety procedures including control of substances harmful to health (COSH).
  • Previous catering experience with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives & kitchen equipment.
  • Experience of working with older people.
