Customer Support Specialist

The RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you'll provide expert application and business support to our customers, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and assistance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide telephone and email support to external customers and colleagues, delivering an exceptional level of service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Log, prioritize, and act on calls via our CRM system, ensuring timely updates and effective problem reporting.
- Ensure the CRM system is updated regularly, allowing for seamless monitoring and reporting of support calls.
- Perform daily tasks according to established procedures and SLAs, identifying trends and critical issues for escalation to team members or management.
- Contribute to the development of Service Desk procedures and knowledge base articles, documenting software features and business processes.
- Treat all customers and colleagues with respect, adhering to our Equal Opportunities Policy and promoting a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Participate in testing new releases of our Syrinx products, providing valuable feedback and insights.
- Experience in 1st Line Support or Server Support role, with a strong understanding of SQL Server, Server 2003 and 2008, and Terminal Services.
- Knowledge of Windows server shares and permissions, as well as Windows networking troubleshooting, including Firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
- Excellent customer service skills, with confidence on the phone and a patient mind for troubleshooting under pressure.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
- Relevant languages, such as German, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese, are advantageous.
