Production Operative

At Ideal Recruit Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our team in Trafford Park. As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sheet metal working machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Safety and Quality: Safely set up, monitor, and maintain sheet metal working machinery and equipment to achieve production targets while maintaining product quality.
- Quality Control: Ensure consistent acceptable quality of products and report any defects to the team leader.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, ensuring that machinery and adjacent areas are kept in good condition.
- Health and Safety: Ensure safety guards are in place at all times and comply with all health and safety requirements.
- Support Functions: Assist with picking, packing, and loading goods as needed to facilitate output.
- Record Keeping: Maintain production and material records.
- Stock Taking: Participate in company stock taking as necessary.
- Training and Development: Willing to learn new skills and undertake training as required.
- Production Experience: Previous experience in a production environment.
- Sheet Metal Experience: Experience working with sheet metal and sheet metal machinery.
- FLT Licence: Possession of a FLT licence (expired is acceptable).
- First Aid: Possession of a First Aid certificate (expired is acceptable).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain a high level of quality.
- Equipment Operation: Ability to operate and control equipment safely and efficiently.
