Job Title: Financial Reporting Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Reporting Lead to join our team at RSM. As a key member of our Accounting and Business Advisory service line, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality financial reporting services to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, with a minimum of three years' PQE and experience managing a full portfolio of clients. They will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of statutory financial statements, providing technical support to our clients, and developing business opportunities to drive growth.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who can demonstrate a deep understanding of UK financial reporting requirements and possess excellent people skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. The estimated salary for this position is £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely delivery of financial reports and providing exceptional client service.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of UK financial reporting requirements.
  • Provide technical support to clients and other departments as required.
  • Closely monitor practice management system reports to ensure profitable recoverability of work in progress and billing on a timely basis.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities to drive growth and cross-sell specialist services.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA fully qualified with a minimum of three years' PQE and experience managing a full portfolio of clients.
  • Strong technical skills, including in-depth knowledge of UK financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent people skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • At least 3 days present in the office each week to support colleagues face-to-face.
