About the Role:


Longhurst Group, a leading housing provider in the Midlands and East of England, is seeking a skilled Residential Real Estate Surveyor to join their Asset & Property Services team.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct surveys on the company's housing stock to complete stock condition reports and provide data to drive the reinvestment programme for their housing stock.
  • Identify and report building defects, including regulatory and legislative concerns, and complete Decent Homes / HHSRS surveys.
  • Collect and maintain accurate data on condition, performance, safety, and energy data to meet regulatory and legislative requirements.


Requirements:



  • A knowledge of building regulations and practices, with a background inspecting homes and assessing lifespan and quality.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid capacity, with time spent with customers across the West region and some travel required.
  • Excellent communication and data collection skills.
