Maintenance Craftsman

Your new role at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited

We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance joiner to join our team on a temporary basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing general joinery work, including fixing issues with existing building fabric.
• Install new building fabric as required.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building fabric.
• Respond to emergency issues promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

Main requirements:

• Proven experience as a maintenance joiner.
• Relevant joinery qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery).
• Valid driving licence.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and organisational skills.

What you'll get in return

You will be paid weekly and your work schedule will be a standard Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1630.

Your Hays consultant will be in touch regularly to respond to any queries or issues you may have and make sure you are kept up-to-date.
