Floristry Professor

Dovetail and Slate is seeking a skilled Floristry Lecturer to cover ongoing needs in our part-time, contract position.

This opportunity allows you to inspire and guide students studying Floristry (level 2 and 3) by delivering engaging lectures and demonstrations. You will also be responsible for monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to facilitate their academic development.

In collaboration with colleagues, you will continuously improve the curriculum, incorporating the latest industry trends and advancements. To succeed in this role, you must stay updated with emerging technologies, industry practices, and educational methodologies relevant to Floristry.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver high-quality lectures and demonstrations to students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve the curriculum

The successful candidate will have a HNC in Floristry or above and relevant industry or education experience. Prior teaching or training experience is desirable, as is a teaching qualification. Experience will also be considered.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £27-£32, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
