We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to enhance our team at GLG Vets in Nottingham. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional veterinary care and thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver top-quality veterinary care and treatment to a diverse range of animals.
  • Perform routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as required, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration with our veterinary team.
  • Collaborate with our dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
  • Ensure the clinic runs efficiently and effectively during your shifts, prioritizing patient care and team well-being.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent), with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the clinic.
  • Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.

Shift Details: 40 hours over four days, with a competitive salary package of £60,000 - £75,000 per year.
