History Curriculum Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified History Teacher to join our team at Supply Desk, a reputable secondary school in Andover. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality History and Humanities lessons to students aged 11-16.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive history curricula.
- Create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects.
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in school events.
To excel in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in History or a related field.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience teaching History and Humanities at KS3/KS4 level.
- Strong knowledge of historical events, theories, and methodologies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
The hourly rate for this position is £130 - £230, making it a competitive offer in the industry. You will also have access to contributory pension schemes and opportunities for professional development through Supply Desk Limited.
