Job Title: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing Tech team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining our suite of mobile and web applications, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Well-Designed Code: Write high-quality, testable, and reliable code for our mobile apps and web platforms.
  • Ensure Performance and Quality: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications as we scale.
  • Database Integration: Implement efficient and reliable integration with PostgreSQL databases, always looking to optimize performance.
  • Containerization and Deployment: Utilize Docker for containerization, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability of applications.
  • Collaboration and Strategy: Collaborate with your team in a hands-on environment using pair and mob programming practices, and contribute towards the technical strategy of our platform.
  • Documentation: Maintain a sensible level of documentation.
Requirements:
  • 5+ Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails, Ruby version, and gem managers in a commercial environment.
  • Modern JavaScript Frameworks: 5+ years of experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks on a commercial website (we use React, Next, and a CSS framework).
  • RESTful API Development: Proven experience developing RESTful API backends for JavaScript apps.
  • CI/CD and GitHub Actions: Worked with CI/CD and familiar with GitHub Actions.
  • Automated Testing Frameworks: Implemented automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, e2e, performance).
  • Object-Oriented Programming: Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment with strict time constraints.
  • API Design and Integration: Familiarity with YAML and configuration management practices, API design, implementation, and integration.
