We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to assume a leadership role in our Carmarthen office. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting thorough audits and accountancy work, including tax, while leading a small team handling accounts for both corporate and charity clients.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for career progression and continuous development. Our hybrid working option offers flexibility, Monday to Friday working hours, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough audits and accountancy work, including tax, and lead a small team.
  • Prepare quality accounts for review by R.I.
  • Perform statutory audits on both corporate and charity clients.
  • Supervise ad hoc work for clients.
  • Maintain the highest standards of technical performance.
  • Develop the value-added culture and actively promote new areas of work reporting to Senior Management Team.
  • Liaise with clients on matters relating to their financial affairs.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • ACCA or ACA qualified.
  • Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Xero, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook.
