RECRUITMENTiQ is partnering with a respected metal recycling business to find an exceptional Plant Maintenance Specialist. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and compliance of our fleet with all relevant regulations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in plant maintenance and repair, with experience working with heavy goods vehicles and specialized equipment. Key responsibilities include carrying out inspections, servicing, and repairs, diagnosing and rectifying electrical and mechanical faults, and adhering to planned work schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, company vehicles, and plant machinery
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults
  • Liaise with the transport administration function
  • Meet deadlines and work efficiently to maintain operational requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified HGV Mechanic with experience in a workshop environment
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum
