A dynamic and engaging teaching opportunity has arisen at a special school in the Guildford area for an experienced English teacher. As part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students aged 10-16 with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Create a supportive learning environment that fosters positive relationships, respect, and a growth mindset among students.
- Evaluate and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Utilize innovative approaches to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Excellent classroom presence and practice
- Passion and drive for working in a SEMH setting
- A competitive salary range of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
