Job Title: Science Graduate

Location: Hounslow

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Graduate to join our team as a Graduate Academic Support. As a Graduate Academic Support, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils, parents, and teachers to establish a supportive learning environment in which children make good academic progress in science up to GCSE.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support Pupil Learning: Deliver specific learning programmes, setting high expectations while encouraging independence and building confidence.
  2. Mentor Students: Provide one-to-one and group mentoring, planning and leading booster and intervention sessions to tackle challenging topics.
  3. Observe and Record: Observe pupil performance, record and provide feedback.
  4. Departmental Co-Planning: Attend co-planning sessions to understand the curriculum and support its development.
  5. Behaviour Management: Assist in behaviour management and support pupils in achieving their learning objectives.
  6. Promote Inclusion: Encourage pupils to interact and work collaboratively.
  7. Resource Development: Adapt and develop resources for EAL and SEND pupils, ensuring their safety and enabling them to access the curriculum.
  8. Digital Fluency: Demonstrate good IT skills and a willingness to develop digital fluency.
