Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School based in East Riding of Yorkshire.

As a Psychology Graduate, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school setting, working with children who require additional support to progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment, promoting the well-being and academic success of all pupils.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a 2:1 degree in Psychology from a Top 30 UK University.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN or SEMH needs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, teachers, and other stakeholders.
