Utility Cartographer

We are seeking an accomplished Utility Cartographer to join our dynamic team at Centara Engineering Services, based in Normanton, West Yorkshire. As a key member of our site investigation team, you will be required to travel extensively throughout the UK. A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.

About the Role:

• Undertake site work using GPR and EML techniques for on-site service clearance in preparation for intrusive site investigation works.
• Process and draft utility mapping projects to PAS128 standards.
• Manage ongoing projects and collaborate with internal site investigation teams and external clients for project scheduling.

Requirements:

• A good level of experience in undertaking utility mapping surveys using electromagnetic detection and ground penetrating radar.
• Aptitude to work independently and as part of a team.
• A willingness to contribute ideas and suggestions.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication is essential to the role.
• Self-motivated, with diligence, integrity and ambition.
• Willingness to travel around the UK.
• Adherence to our technical and operating procedures with a strong sense of health and safety awareness.
