Job Title: Box Office Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Box Office Assistant to join our team at Stirling Council. As a key member of our Culture and Events team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing ticket sales, and ensuring the smooth operation of our box office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm welcome to customers and respond to their queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process ticket sales, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with event setup, including setting up ticketing systems and preparing event materials.
  • Work collaboratively with the events team to ensure the success of events and activities.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a box office or events environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
