Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a company van to deliver and collect parcels from our client's Parcelshop and Smart Locker network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Parcel Delivery: Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver and collect parcels from our client's Parcelshop and Smart Locker network.
  • Manual Handling: Manually load and unload vehicles with packages.
  • Route Management: Follow established delivery routes and schedules.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to recipients and senders.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Physical Demands: Handle up to 1000 parcels per day and assist in the warehouse, particularly with the loading and unloading in the bays.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid UK driver's license.
  • Driving Record: Have no more than 6 points on license (minor offenses only).
  • DBS Check: Have a recent DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
  • Driving Assessment: Ability to pass a driving assessment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical Ability: Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work 5-6 shifts per week, including weekends.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and organisational skills.
