About the Role

As a Vehicle Progressor at Arnold Clark, you will play a crucial role in the efficient flow of vehicles throughout our operation.

You will be responsible for booking cars in and out, carrying out thorough vehicle appraisals, processing claims, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed to a high standard.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, who is able to operate our internal systems and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving and processing new and used vehicles from external suppliers and transport companies.
  • Conducting thorough appraisals on all vehicles using our internal systems.
  • Processing internal and third-party claims with relevant suppliers.
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure timely claim processing.
  • Supporting colleagues to ensure vehicles are ready for handovers and delivery.
  • Monitoring and implementing key security and compliance procedures.
  • Overseeing outstanding issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Liaising with our Head Office and internal departments daily.

Requirements

  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence with IT systems.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Security and compliance focussed.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Experience is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided for a candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and meets the required criteria.
