Our client is a leading manufacturer in the food industry, seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of equipment within a high-speed manufacturing environment. This includes performing regular equipment checks, identifying and diagnosing faults, and implementing immediate fixes where possible.

They will work collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth operation, adhere to health and safety regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular equipment checks and preventative maintenance
  • Identify and diagnose equipment faults, implementing immediate fixes where possible
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth operation
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A recognised Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
