Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Systems Specialist to join our team at Reed. As a Hydraulic Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, manufacture, modification, and repair of heavy material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic hose systems at client locations.
  • Operate the mobile hose repair and hydraulic diagnostic van to provide on-site services.
  • Work safely on hydraulic equipment including stripping and building hydraulic cylinders, motors, pump assemblies, and valves.
  • Perform detailed inspections and quality checks on hydraulic components.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify issues with hydraulic systems.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience in hydraulic systems and forklift mechanics.
  • Ability to operate hydraulic test beds, hose swagers, and general workshop equipment.
  • Effective operation of forklifts and heavy-handling equipment.
