STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant Role

Ribbons & Reeves is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team of educators. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths subjects.

The Role
  • Provide academic support to students in STEM subjects, including mentoring and tutoring in small groups and one-to-one settings.
  • Assist teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education.
  • Help to identify and address knowledge gaps in students, particularly those that have emerged during the pandemic.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student motivation and self-esteem.
Requirements
  • A First-Class or 2:1 degree in a STEM-related subject.
  • Excellent A-Levels and GCSE grades.
  • Ambitions of qualifying as a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths Teacher in the future.
  • The energy and enthusiasm to captivate and maintain the focus of students.
  • The patience to support and encourage students who are struggling to understand key concepts.
