Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Finance Expert to join our team at Ontic. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment with exposure to inventory.


As a Business Finance Expert, you will be responsible for providing financial support to the business, including advanced Excel skills and financial modelling. You will also have a strong understanding of financial management and analysis, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


The salary for this position is approximately £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 26 days' holiday, a pension scheme, and free parking.


Key Responsibilities



  • Providing financial support to the business, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Developing and maintaining financial models and reports
  • Analysing financial data and providing recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A degree in a finance-related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong understanding of financial management and analysis
