About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to lead the design, development, support, maintenance, and protection of the Salesforce platform at Jisc. As a key member of our Business Services team, you will play a vital role in continually improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform while working closely with the DXP Platform team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, support, maintenance, and protection of the Salesforce platform.
  • Provide technical coaching to the team and lead technical discussions.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of policy and process within the team.
  • Advise on opportunities for Salesforce development to enhance corporate efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Experience with Salesforce SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, CommunicationsCloud, ExperienceCloud, and CPQ.
  • Previous experience with Copado, Conga, Adobe Sign, JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a technical support role or customer service-facing role.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and performing unit, system, peer, and user-acceptance testing.
  • Demonstrable experience deploying configuration/deployments into a live environment.
  • Understanding of IT security principles, including security by design, CIA triangle, and SSO.
  • Demonstrable experience working within Agile and DevOps frameworks.
  • Proficiency using Visual Studio Code, Salesforce CLI, and Extensions.
