About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Programmes to lead our Adult Social Care Improvement Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Council's Adult Social Care improvement priorities, including preparation for the upcoming CQC inspection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead an effective Programme Management function within the Adult Social Care Directorate, providing strong and motivational leadership to the ASC Improvement Team.
  • Support the development and delivery of the Adult Social Care improvement priority projects, including playing a lead role in inspection preparation and response.
  • Oversee the department's communication and coproduction approach, ensuring alignment with the delivery of our vision and link into the corporate strategy and priorities.
  • Initiate and implement a strong and robust CQC readiness preparation programme of works.
About You

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience delivering Adult Social Care improvement programmes for a Local authority. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management and leadership skills, outstanding stakeholder engagement and partnership working skills, and a complete understanding of the latest CQC inspection guidelines.

What's on Offer

We offer a competitive daily rate of £600, negotiable based on experience, and a hybrid working arrangement. The contract type is Contract, with hours of work being 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.
