Head of Sales Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to join our team at The Advocate Group, a leading recruitment partner to the FMCG and consumer product sectors.

About the Role

As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for managing a high-performing team and key grocery customers, driving category growth across the UK & Ireland retail market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build excellent relationships to drive category growth across the UK & Ireland retail market.
  • Develop and drive your channel and account strategies, delivering the budgeted P&L for your customer base.
  • Win key new business and listings targets across the market.
  • Best-in-class account management of existing customers.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Full commercial responsibility for your accounts, including forecasting, P&L, and development and execution of JBP to achieve targets.
  • Work cross-functionally with other business functions.
  • Be a leading voice within the business, someone who can be a go-to figure for junior members of the team.

Requirements

  • Clear experience managing both a team and UK retail customers.
  • Hunger to progress, learn, cultivate, and build a winning team.
  • Fully P&L responsible, experienced with complex JBP negotiations.
