Yolk Recruitment is working with a prestigious manufacturing company based near Chichester, seeking an Electrical / Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for a 6-month contract, with possibilities of extension. This role will start in the new year.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting proactive and reactive maintenance routines on production equipment in a timely manner, adhering to all health and safety requirements. They will work 12-hour shifts on a Continental pattern.

Prior experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer within FMCG is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks on production equipment.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimize maintenance schedules and reduce downtime.

Requirements:
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer in FMCG.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
