Consultant Anaesthesiologist

We are looking for a skilled Consultant General Anaesthetist to join our team at the James Paget University Hospital in East Anglia. As a key member of our anaesthetic team, you will provide flexible anaesthetic services to various surgical specialties and participate in on-call duties. The successful candidate will also contribute to clinical meetings and quality improvement programmes.

About the position:

• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement anaesthetic strategies
• Provide expert advice and guidance to junior doctors and medical students
• Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
• Participate in research and audit projects

Essential qualifications and experience:

• FRCA or equivalent qualification
• MBBS or Basic Medical Degree
• Full GMC registration

Desirable qualifications and experience:

• Postgraduate Degree in Education
• Experience as a Consultant in the UK
• Interest in u/s guided vascular access and nerve blocks
