Senior Product Development Manager

At Streamline Search, we're seeking an experienced New Product Development & Compliance Lead to join our well-established team. As a Culinary Innovator, you'll lead the growth and development of complex sauce products, ensuring performance and quality of product formulations. You'll manage and mentor a team across the NPD and Technical Services Departments, providing technical guidance and support to team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of complex products, ensuring performance and quality of product formulations.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring success rates in timelines and budget adherence.
Project Leadership - projects from concept to launch and any ideas successfully implemented in product development.
Quality Improvement - Reduction in the number of quality challenges within developed products.
Customer Services - Retain our very high standards and ratings and gain knowledge and experience of our customer database, achieving full customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Enhanced technical knowledge in Food Science and Product Development.
Expertise in food chemistry, microbiology, nutrition, and cold fill products.
Ability to drive new product ideas and project management skills.
Advanced food science, with a high level of understanding food science principles, including food chemistry, microbiology, and nutrition.
Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Product formulation expertise, proficiency in developing and refining complex food product formulations.
Problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues in product development.
Project management skills, advanced skills in planning, managing, and executing projects from concept to completion.
Quality assurance, in-depth knowledge of quality control processes and the ability to implement them effectively.
Market research and consumer insights, ability to conduct and interpret market research to guide product development.
