Job Title: Inspector

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Alfreton

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Inspector to join our team at a specialist manufacturing facility in Alfreton. As an Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct regular inspections of products and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards
* Use measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers to verify product dimensions
* Read and work from engineering drawings to ensure accurate production
* Perform light fabrication work and panel beating as required
* Take responsibility for quality control of own work and ensure it meets company standards
* Follow company standard working procedures and guidelines
* Basic computer skills are required

Personal Qualities:

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime as needed
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to follow clear instructions and procedures
* Positive attitude and problem-solving approach
* Exemplary time-keeping and attendance

Working Hours:

* Monday to Thursday: 7am - 3:30pm
* Friday: 7am - 2pm

Overtime is available upon request.

This is a temporary to permanent position, and we are looking for candidates who are seeking long-term work.
