Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead our Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) team for solar and battery projects. As a key member of our Environment & Sustainability business, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality EIA services to support our growing portfolio of renewables and net zero projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EIA, with experience in leading consultancy services and managing multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure development projects. You will be responsible for directing and managing EIA teams, overseeing the preparation of EIA screening and scoping reports, and collaborating with internal teams to identify environmental constraints and develop solutions.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering sustainable outcomes and has a strong understanding of the EIA processes and environmental assessment methods. You will be responsible for promoting AECOM's environmental services to both internal and external audiences and will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from early strategy development to detailed design and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead EIA teams and oversee the preparation of EIA screening and scoping reports
  • Direct the preparation of environmental assessments and supporting documents
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify environmental constraints and develop solutions
  • Manage project budgets and resources
