Data Engineer Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data platform development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing efficient data transformation processes at scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement efficient data transformation processes at scale, both in batch and streaming use cases.
  2. Help public sector teams understand the value of their data and make the most of it.
  3. Work with data scientists to productionise advanced data deliverables, such as machine learning models.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A strong background in data engineering, with experience in designing and implementing data platforms.
  • Knowledge of handling and transforming various data types (JSON, CSV, etc) with Apache Spark, Databricks, or Hadoop.
  • The ability to work with agile delivery-led projects and apply agile practices such as Scrum, XP, Kanban.
