About the Role:
The Matching Room Ltd is seeking a National Account Manager to join their team on a permanent and full-time basis. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for developing sales and growth to increase the company's share of the market in the UK and Europe.
About the Client:
Our client is a UK business and part of a global pharmaceutical company, manufacturing tertiary and own label OTC medicines. They are looking for a National Account Manager to join on a permanent and full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop sales and growth strategies to increase the company's share of the market in the grocery and discount channels. Ensure relationships with existing key retail accounts are maintained. Identify new opportunities and grow existing business through NPD. Collaborate with the commercial team to achieve set targets on a month-by-month basis.
Requirements:
Experience in a similar role working with grocery and/or discounters at national account level is essential. Experience with medicines/OTC/pharmaceutical, health or beauty products is essential. Proficient IT ability and a driving licence are also required.
What's on Offer:
A competitive basic salary of £50,000-£70,000, dependent on experience. Monthly and quarterly bonus, based on personal performance/targets. 21 days holiday + bank holidays. Home based with one day a month in the office (sites in Yorkshire and outskirts London).
