We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team at Rapid Response FM. As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize commercial premises, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Manage waste disposal, including emptying bins, recycling, and handling hazardous materials in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain restrooms, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms with necessary supplies.
  • Apply disinfectants to high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs.
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
  • Polish, buff, and deep clean carpets and hard floors.
  • Operate specialized cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and steam cleaners.

Requirements:

  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Able to work away from home for up to a week at a time.
  • At least 2 years of cleaning experience.
  • High attention to detail.

Requirements Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in specialist cleaning, trauma scene cleaning, or a related field preferred.
  • Certification in biohazard cleaning, hazardous materials handling, or related training is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in challenging and diverse environments.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Able to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning protocols for biohazards, chemicals, and other hazardous materials.
  • Proficiency in using specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Emotional resilience and ability to manage stress effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work day time and night time shifts.
