The Role

This is a dynamic role that requires a strong understanding of fire-related products, including fire alarms, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, and suppression systems. You will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies, managing product lifecycles, and driving market growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the product P&L, ensuring profitability targets are met.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies, positioning, and promotional plans.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and distribution.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Preferably a Master's degree or MBA.

Experience:

  • Proven work experience in product management, ideally within the fire safety or related sectors.
  • Able to lead cross-functional teams and manage product development projects.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and financial reports.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in product management tools and software.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this role is £65,000 - £90,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
