Role Overview

Our client, a leading organisation in Belfast, is seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join their Human Resources team on a 9-month contract. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing effective people solutions that drive organisational performance and foster positive employee relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of HR projects to meet corporate objectives.
  • Support HR Business Partners in managing absence cases and liaising with Occupational Health.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Develop innovative HR solutions for effective resource management.
  • Promote performance management through coaching and process application.
  • Provide expert advice on employment laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in recruitment and selection.
  • Prepare management reports and improve HR KPIs with HR Business Partners.
  • Support managers in investigations of bullying, harassment, disciplinaries, and grievance cases.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR role advising on handling employee relations within a unionised environment. A CIPD qualification is essential, and experience in managing and delivering HR projects is highly desirable. You should have a sound understanding of employment legislation and HR policies, as well as effective communication, influencing, and negotiation skills. Experience working in Manufacturing/Operations is also beneficial.
