About the Role

We are seeking a Support Specialist to join our team at Murrayburn Primary School Enhanced Support Base. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children who have complex learning and behavioural profiles, including Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Key Responsibilities

  • To support pupils in their learning, play and general development
  • To work alongside class teachers and nursery nurses to develop strategies for supporting pupils with additional needs
  • To provide 1:1 support to pupils who require it
  • To contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment

About You

  • You will ideally have experience working with children with similar ASN profiles in an educational setting
  • You should have knowledge of strategies and interventions to support pupils with additional needs
  • You will be able to communicate well and work as part of a class staff team
  • You should be flexible and creative in your approach to supporting young people

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £24,000 - £25,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time and sessional)
