About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Early Years Practitioner to join our team of dedicated professionals working with children aged 0 to 5, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. As a key person, you will work closely with families and other professionals to guide and scaffold children's play, monitor their progress, and support them to meet their highest potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a key person for babies and children aged 0 to 5, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities
  • Guide and scaffold children's play, monitor their progress, and support them to meet their highest potential
  • Work closely with families and other professionals to meet the needs of children
  • Support vulnerable families and children with SEN, working in partnership with other agencies
Requirements

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner who holds a Level 3 Childcare qualification (or higher) and has experience of planning, observing, and using assessment tools to support each individual child's development needs. You should have a thorough knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Ofsted standards, and relevant legislation.

As a flexible and open-to-change professional, you will be ready to work cooperatively as part of a team and support the needs of children and families in our community.
