Senior Bookkeeper

Job Summary

This role involves managing the financial affairs of the France entity, including payroll duties and EMEA cash collections/cash flow analysis. You will be responsible for high-level tasks such as monthly reporting, VAT returns preparation and submission, inter-company costs recording and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Raise customer invoices and deal with internal queries
• Monitor aged debtors and manage purchase ledger duties
• Prepare payments to suppliers and staff, and post company credit cards
• Manage bank ledger duties, including daily bank postings and reconciliations
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and analyze cash collections results
• Complete month-end reporting processes and file EU related VAT reports

Requirements

• Fully qualified or newly qualified accountant
• At least 3 years experience working as an accountant
• Prior knowledge of French GAAP is advantageous
• Fluent in French language
• Proficient bookkeeping and organizational skills
• Excellent excel skills

What We Offer

• $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience
• 20 days pro-rata annual holiday excluding bank holidays and up to 25 days after 5 years
• 39 hours a week with hybrid office model (2 WFH per week)
