Video Content Creator Job Description

We are seeking a talented Video Content Creator to join our team at Student Beans. As a Video Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating and editing engaging video content for our social media channels and YouTube.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping to create and edit video content for YouTube and social media channels.
  • Working collaboratively with our team to brainstorm and develop ideas for video content.
  • Monitoring social and industry trends to ensure we are reactive and utilising the latest trends and styles.
  • Monitoring industry or platform updates to ensure we are ahead of the curve in all things video.
  • Proactively seeking ways to further develop your knowledge of social media and video content creation.
  • Building an online community by interacting with users daily and confidently demonstrating our tone of voice.
  • Ad-hoc filming for our social video series, including vox pops.
  • Editing short and long-form content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and the blog.

Requirements:

  • Experience editing video content for social channels and YouTube.
  • Experience attending shoots and capturing content for YouTube.
  • Experience using a social calendar and forward planning/scheduling video content.
  • Basic understanding of Adobe After Effects.
  • Solid understanding of editing using the Adobe Creative Suite (must have Premier Pro).
  • Solid understanding of the Google Suite.
  • Super organised editing processes.
  • Ability to create content that sticks to our brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Understanding of YouTube and video trends.
