Law Firm Billing Coordinator

At Alfred Newton Solicitors, we are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients and achieving excellence in everything we do. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Billing Clerk/Costs Draftsman to join our team and contribute to our success.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in legal aid billing, excellent communication and time management skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. If you have a strong passion for delivering high-quality results and are proficient in Microsoft Office, we encourage you to apply.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process bills and manage client relationships
- Liaise with counsel and experts to resolve billing queries
- Make applications and interact with the Legal Aid Agency
- Collaborate with partners and fee earners to achieve business objectives
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in legal aid billing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum based on experience
