Trade Sales and Customer Service Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Trade Sales Administrator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for addressing enquiries through phone and email while maintaining our exceptional service level standards.
In this role, you will work closely with our production departments to track order progression, ensuring customers' expectations are accurately communicated throughout. You will also provide accurate information and costs on our diverse product range, discussing enquiries regarding price, delivery, and product specifications with both customers and our production team.
The ideal candidate will be a natural at customer service with strong administrative skills, excelling in system and process navigation. You will be adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously, remaining calm under pressure, and having a keen eye for detail.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Promptly respond to customer enquiries via email and phone, maintaining our multi-award-winning Service Level Standards (2-hour response time)
- Discuss enquiries regarding price, delivery, and product specifications with both customers and our production team
- Use our purpose-built systems to provide customers with accurate quotations by email with relevant product information
- Ensure timely follow-up on quotations issued to customers by phone and email
- Independently manage and process subsequent orders to completion, liaising with other departments as required
Person Specification
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative roles within busy office environments
- Hands-on experience of database software or CRM software
- Proficient in other computer usage, especially email, Word, and Excel, along with a good technical aptitude
- An excellent team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written
